Keep up and ahead of your own pace by knowing your deadlines.

Create a weekly plan. 

If creating a daily plan may be a little difficult for you to get to. Create a weekly plan, so you can be more in-tune with your weekly habits, goals, and tasks. 

Create realistic goals and deadlines. 

This way you can understand how you need to value your time and be on on track with setting realistic goals and deadlines.
