I ghosted a few of my so-called best friends on purpose. I have no regrets. In fact, it made me a better friend. I realized that I no longer had much to anything in common with my friends at the time.

Developing genuine and honest friendships is something that many people enjoy! It’s something beautiful about surrounding ourselves with people of similar ambitions, hobbies, lifestyles, or relationship statuses. Many of us love having friendships with people that we admire, learn from, and even challenging us to level up in life.

I am currently 23 with a dry phone and no friends to hang out with. The older I get I find it difficult to make friends, because I have high expectations for friendships. Just like before I became married, I had high expectations for my relationships after being played, hurt, and my heart suddenly becoming to grow cold. Here are 6 reasons why not having any friends doesn't make you a loner after all.

You may have been friends with this certain individual for months, years, or even decades, and now the friendship has run it's the course. Ending or going through a broken friendship can be painful. Broken friendships can lead one or both depressed, angry, or even filled with resentment. I want you to know that you do not have to suffer from the ending of a friendship.

Making new friendships can be exciting and life-changing. The feeling of connecting with someone who shares your similar interests and has great conversations to share sometimes lure us in. You both become 'close friends' within weeks.

Going out to grab a bite to eat, visiting each other's homes, and even shopping together may seem like fun for while it lasts. Then after weeks, months, or years of being 'a friend' to them something just starts to feel off.
