I have
been taking time out to build my brands and to focus on my direction in this
life. I have learned that I need to take everything that I place my time seriously. For the past couple of years, I have only taken doing my product
reviews and just videos in general as a hobby.
A hobby
that brings me a lot of enjoyment and fulfillment because I know that I am
helping people. As of lately, I just found out what it means to secure the bag,
especially with working behind the scenes with brands. Working with brands
without tweaking the truth has been refreshing so far for me too.
A month
ago, I blogged about how my husband and I both were having financial
difficulties. Read here if you missed it. During that time, many people talked down and tried
to downplay our financial difficulties that I had the okay to share with all
my readers from my husband. Being transparent with many people, especially on my
blog, has had its pros and cons.
I will
say that neither he nor I took any handouts during this time, food was still on
our table, clothes were on our backs, a roof was over our heads, and our bills
were paid for. Therefore God made a way.
While
folks were criticizing and laughing at our financial situation God was turning
it all around. I'm confident in His works. God's timing always is perfect.
I'm
excited for what's coming. What about you and your current outlook on life? Are
you optimistic? Right now, I have a solid prayer life and gratitude journal
that I use to keep track of my blessings. Overall, I’m happy, and all is well.
