I
used to never be prepared for my period. Even
when I was taking birth control and I knew that my cycle was approaching I
would wait until the day before or the day of my period to get my pads,
tampons, feminine wipes, and even extra toilet paper because I had IBS. Looking
back on how far I have now progressed I am glad that I learned from my past
trials and tribulations with my period!
It is possible! Gaining inner peace during such a turbulent
time is essential to our mental health. It might seem as if there are so many
people that you may follow or watch on social media who have it all together, and you're the only one struggling. I've felt the same way but chose to recharge
and re-evaluate my thoughts and daily practices. I value being able to be at
peace in my life, both mentally and physically.

Having hope in God requires effort. Whether one wants to
commit to the unwavering effort of having hope in what God can and will fulfill
for their lives is up to them. I have learned that keeping my hope strong and in
God’s word is comforting. I want to share with you a few of my favorite bible
verses from the King James Bible about having hope in God.

During this time many people are out of work due to the COVID-19
pandemic in the United States. The month of March is also national Lymphedema awareness
month too. Being that my state has been under a stay at home order issued by the
governor I have been practicing social distancing.
