Becoming 26 is a blessing. When I was an adolescent up to a teenager I fought with depression and while having suicidal thoughts and tendencies. Throughout this decade I have rediscovered Christ for myself. I discovered how to love and value my self-worth.

I also lost people who I once an upon a time labeled my friends. Throughout the past few years, I also lost touch with my immediate family although it was for the better. I’m so excited that you care enough to find out more about me too! Here are 25 things that I have learned at 26 years old!

1. A consistent prayer life is a happy life.
2. Speaking over yourself can help you conquer any self-doubt.
3. A clean house helps you move through the day with ease.
4. Smile after someone pisses you off.
5. If you don’t like how they get something done, then do it your damn self.
6. Read more novels and fewer novellas.
7. Let people go gracefully and without any hesitation.
8. Dance like nobody’s watching even if you have no rhythm.
9. Eat that last cupcake or slice of cake girl! Sheesh!
10. Prayer journaling will change your outlook on life.
11. If they can’t handle your truth, then they don’t need to be around you.
