Folks are going to talk. Regardless of how you talk, the fact that you are living your life, the way you are pursuing your goals, or the amount of peace you have now there may be comments or opinions about it.

And honestly? That’s not your problem. Because here’s the truth: you’re not doing too much.
They Don’t Know the Work Behind the Glow
People always think you are too self-consumed sometimes when you radiate confidence, but they don't know the tough times, sleepless nights, or all the inner battles you went through to get here. They see you differently now.
Sometimes they be watching so hard but miss the part
where you silently cried and still showed up. Now that you are setting
boundaries and putting your happiness first, you are now that girl “doing too
much”
No, baby, you are not, and you are just getting started.
Folks will tear you back mentally and emotionally on social media if you allow them. Oh, don’t let you be a woman living life on your own terms. Girl, now don’t let that love you have for yourself show out loud. Don’t be the girl that dress up with nowhere to go and looks damn good.
Don’t be the girl that book solo dates whenever she feels the need to. Don’t be the girl that speaks up or just stop explaining yourself. People will get uncomfortable.
Girl, that’s quite alright.
I heard that growth makes noise and evolving makes people
nervous. But look you’re not here to stay palatable for people who never liked
you to begin with.
The truth is, playing it safe never protected you. Playing it
safe for other folks just delayed your shine. You are finally in a season where
you are choosing yourself without guilt. Look at you! Then, for the first time in a long time, you
can feel your energy shifting.
You are working on your body. Your spirit. Your money. If you
are a mom, you could be working on your motherhood. You are embracing your
goals and you’re doing it while still being beautiful, soft, smart, and unbothered.
That’s not “too much.” You are setting a new standard for yourself
and that is none of folks business.
Final Thoughts
Let them think you’re doing the most.
Let watch whatever you post on social media. Let them speculate. Let them sit
in the front row to a life they didn’t believe you could create. You see what
they fail to realize is that you’re just laying the foundation. The glow-up
hasn’t even peaked yet.
You’re not doing too much.
You’re finally doing you in the manner that you see fit whether
it is loud, fully, and unapologetically.
They just do not know that’s only the beginning.
