I recently talked about how the summer was a difficult season for me. Summer has been stretching me in ways I never expected. Between being a mom, working, going to school, writing, and still trying to make time for myself. I have felt the pull of every responsibility at once.

There are days when I wake up tired. I know for sure that I still must keep going. There are moments when I wonder if I’m truly walking in the right direction. But in moments like this God reminds me that faith is about trusting Him even when I can’t see what’s next.
This next season, is fall and it will not be the easiest, but I
will lean on Christ like never before.
Faith Looks Like Surrender
I used to think faith meant staying busy with the things you
said you were going to do. Being able to keep doing, fixing, making things
happen on my own was all I knew. But lately, God has been showing me that real
faith looks like surrender. It looks like praying and then letting go of the
anxiety.
“Be still, and know that I am God.” – Psalm
46:10 (KJV)
This verse has sketched in my heart. I’m learning that I don’t
have to control every detail of my life. My job is to show up and do my part.
His job is to do what only He can do.
Faith That’s Unwavering
Not every miracle comes with a celebration. Your prayers being
answered can happen on ordinary days. It can look like the rent or mortgage being
paid, the kids are healthy, the bills are covered, and there’s food in the
fridge. I am prepared to go into this next season with knowing that God has
helped me understand the thankfulness in the small provisions and to give Him praise
for them.
“In every thing give thanks: for this is the will
of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.” – 1 Thessalonians 5:18 (KJV)
Even when life feels repetitive or heavy, I pause and say,
“Thank You, Lord, for today.” It is the gratitude that shifts my perspective
and reminds me that I’m not forgotten.
Faith When Life Feels Overwhelming
There are still moments when I feel stretched too thin. However,
in these times I am remembering that faith reminds me that I’m never carrying
my burdens alone.
“Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for
you.” – 1 Peter 5:7 (KJV)
When I feel anxious, I pause. I tell myself to give all of my worries to God. It’s not easy to release control, but I feel lighter every time I do.
Faith Builds Patience
Waiting can be mentally taxing at times, but I’m learning that
God uses seasons of waiting to grow my patience and trust.
“But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew
their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and
not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.” – Isaiah
40:31 (KJV)
Every prayer I’ve prayed may not be answered yet. However, I
know God is working behind the scenes. When the answer comes, it will be right
on time. I wait knowing that he providing in divine timing.
Conclusion
This upcoming season of my life will not be perfect, but it will
be purposeful. I am learning that faith isn’t just about believing when
everything is good. Faith is about trusting God when nothing makes sense. Faith
is about trusting God, when I’m tired and even when I’m unsure.
“For we walk by faith, not by sight.” – 2
Corinthians 5:7 (KJV)
If you’re in a season where you feel stretched or uncertain,
know this, “God sees you. He hears you. He is using this next season to build
your faith, strengthen your spirit, and prepare you for what’s next.
