Being a single mom right now means balancing work and kids. However, I still have to make time for myself in the midst of everything. I have been dedicated to finding reliable child care, especially on weekends. I have came up with a way to still be able to have a life outside of motherhood while working a 9-5 and without help of the co-parent on rotating weekends.

I been playing music throughout the day to numb this loss I’m experiencing. My paran  Louis passed away this morning at Thibodaux Regional Hospital. He was in his early 70’s still trying to hold on and see the day through, but his body got tired of fighting. 

Ladies, here is a simple mistake that may cost you your peace of mind in the long run that many of us have made at some point. What is that you may ask? Well, it’s keeping a guy around in the friend zone even after realizing he is not the one. Maybe you’ve been dating him for a while. Hell, maybe you realized just days after being intimate that he is not going to do it for you.

This year marks three years since my divorce was finalized. Whew! Today, I can finally say, I have officially paid off my divorce lawyer.
