It’s February 1st! How have you been holding up? The month of January came and went quickly. Well, for me I have been doing well. Last month, God gave me so much clarity on what He wants me to do with my talents.

Becoming 26 is a blessing. When I was an adolescent up to a teenager I fought with depression and while having suicidal thoughts and tendencies. Throughout this decade I have rediscovered Christ for myself. I discovered how to love and value my self-worth.

There’s an old hymn that goes, “Have a little talk with Jesus. Tell him all about your troubles.” To many people, it’s just ole hymn lyrics to sing. To me, it means sparking up a conversation with God throughout your day.

Talking to God throughout your storm. Uplifting God’s name with thankfulness is also a way of talking to God. Prayer is also essential and one of the keys to growing a closer relationship with Him.

Compromise means to accept standards that are lower than is desirable. In life, we compromise most times to keep a negotiable ground with some folks. We compromise in many areas of our lives for several reasons. Most times we compromise to speak our worth and to keep the peace.
