My Breastfeeding Experience & Tips

in , , , by Linda B Hurd, December 07, 2017
My breastfeeding experience began the same day that I gave birth to my son, October 29th, 2017. I started off feeling discouraged. I didn't know anything about producing colostrum. At the hospital, I delivered at their lactation specialists were amazing. They didn't pressure me into breastfeeding my newborn and they were very hands-on and supportive in my decision to breastfeed.

After I gave birth to my first child life as a mother really started to hit me hard. I was no longer working due to me not having any close family members near me that I can trust to watch my child so I can have the option to return back to work. I was a loner too.

Going to work or just heading out the door and seeing other humans and interacting with them was one of the many highlights of my day. Life has changed for me and I embraced it all along with motherhood. I just wanted to share a few things that a lot of women won't tell you about becoming a stay at home mother for the very first time.

As a mama now I'm heading into the 6th week of my baby's growth development. Nobody told me how demanding this stage of a baby's growth. My baby has been breastfeeding non-stop, has been fussy, and not wanting to sleep.

God Will Get Me Thru

About a week ago from today I was sitting with my laptop in my lap on my sofa with my hands on my head stressed. Yes, I was stressed and my anxiety was low-key through the damn roof. Now why my nerves were so bad?
