When
you make the transition from being a country girl to a city girl your views
truly change. Where I am from drinking beer, wine coolers, and daiquiris are the
way to go if you are celebrating or just whining down.
When I made the move to the outskirts of New Orleans from living in Assumption Parish I experience the views of an onlooker would during Mardi Gras season.

But Does He Pray for You, Sis?
in blogmas2017, couple advice, marriage advice, relationship advice, relationships, by Linda B Hurd, December 14, 2017
I
have found myself having conversations with a lot of ladies who are young and
older about how they love a quote-unquote God-fearing man. While there is
nothing wrong with desiring a God-fearing man, the issue comes into play when a
lot of women realize that man they love finds himself infatuated with your flesh
and not your spirit. There is a difference with a man becomes infatuated with
the flesh and spirit and allow for me to break it down for you, sis.
For
the year of 2017 I have discovered and have purchased many Audible books! The
reason why I love Audible and Audible books is because I am an avid listener. I
love hearing how a story can be told in someone’s voice especially while I’m
reading the book.
I will admit I am that girl who would shamelessly settle for the Audible edition of any book any day and still buy the book. I wanted to share with you all 5 amazing Audibles that I purchased and have listened to during this year. Hopefully you have listened to them or I gave you inspiration to purchase them via Audible.

My natural hair
journey began in July 2011. I was becoming a junior in high school and
no longer did I want to deal with my then relaxed hair. I felt like I
wasn't living the vision of who I knew I had the potential to be. I also
couldn't afford to go to the salon every couple of months to keep up
with my new growth and the rest of my relaxed hair.
This weekend has truly been enlightening. On Saturday
afternoon I attended my very first sip and paint. I spent a few hours
that were well deserved out of my place and without my baby for the very
first time in 6 weeks.
I made sure my husband had a few bags of breastmilk ready for the baby
before I headed out. I was a bit nervous being that it was my first time
leaving my baby with my husband while I head out too.
We all have possibly
felt the urge while shopping to treat ourselves to a little something
nice. I know I have and can honestly say it with a grin. But when does
treating yourself to something nice conflicts with your current
financial situation? Believe it or not, there are people who will charge
their credit card to the max or even their debit card to just feel and
look like they are living a life of financial comfort, but are suffering
to make rent or mortgage on a monthly basis.
As a mama now I'm heading into the 6th week of my baby's growth
development. Nobody told me how demanding this stage of a baby's growth.
My baby has been breastfeeding non-stop, has been fussy, and not
wanting to sleep.
