Maybe I need to step away and give myself a break. A break from what, one may ask? A break from life. However, it’s impossible to give myself a break because I am a wife, a toddler mom, and an overthinking black woman in her late 20’s with hustle. Too much hustle that I sometimes do not give myself enough credit, grace, or time to just take in my efforts. There's so much pressure that comes with the desire of wanting to be a successful black woman.

How To Handle Your Haters According To The Bible

by Linda B Hurd, May 29, 2020

Some people do not have much better things to do with their time then to put you down. It's something about you that they can not stand out of pure jealously. The bible gives us a few verses on how to handle people when they start spreading lies on our name.

Working out with secondary lymphedema can be challenging. For the past three weeks, I have been working out consecutively with only two to three random rest days. I started with jumping rope for two weeks straight. I jumped for about 20-30 minutes every day and then started doing Billy Blanks Tae Bo workouts. I have secondary lymphedema in my left foot and ankle. You can tap here to read more of my secondary lymph journey if you would like.

Sometimes in our lives, people may tell us that you're being "too emotional, too apprehensive and or too critical."
