When you are driven by a passionate impulse to do something that will fulfill your spirit, act on it. I recently acted on a dynamic, driven impulse to cut my own natural hair on the first Wednesday of September 2020! I love Wednesdays, and I also wanted to switch up my look. I started off just going through the motions of my regular wash day.

Maybe you just do not need a bouquet of flowers, candy, and or a bottle of your favorite wine to put a smile on your own face. Sometimes you want something a little bit more personal than you can always hold on to for the years to come. Maybe you have overlooked card shopping, but it may be something you may want to consider doing for yourself. I am not talking about a gift card.

“It can’t be!” I heard as I smelled a bag of russet potatoes with my back still turned.

“Omg, Linda. I’m a subscriber of yours.” The unfamiliar voice said as I turned around to face her.

There comes a time when being brutally honest to others can make you look and seem like an asshole. I've been there time and time again. It's also not a good feeling. I've struggled with defending myself after being brutally honest with loved ones, coworkers, strangers, and even friends. I have also had moments after just being truthful with someone that I then apologized and tried to sympathize with that person out of empathy. I wasn't always someone who just spilled my truth to someone at all.
