You have made it to another month! Do your little dance! Last month had its own troubles and lessons that have been learned now. November 2020 has come quickly. It’s mind-blowing to think about how soon. Thanksgiving and Christmas will be here.

Hurricane Zeta Didn't Stop Us From Being Grateful

We made it through Hurricane Zeta! On Wednesday, October 28th, 2020 my husband, Eli, and I rode out our first Hurricane. Baby, Zeta did not touch down when she made landfall to pass us by. Zeta came and brought strong hurricane winds up to 80mph and sheets of rippling rain that didn’t cause any flooding. 

No More Hiding Behind My Hair

After 4 years of growing out my natural hair without a big chop for 9 years of begin natural, I finally had the courage to cut my hair. My problem with deciding on cutting my hair shorter was solely wrapped around the hiding I enjoyed with my shoulder-length natural curls. My hormonal acne and hyperpigmentation from acne scars left my face riddled with imperfections.

There are still many Black Lives Matter protests happening across the world and allies and activists that are rightfully confronting the issue of what constitutes a substantial change.
