He dried all of my tears away. Turned my midnight's into the day. So, I’ll just say thank you Lord I won’t complain! If you don’t know these song lyrics, I’m just going to do you a favor and link the song right here so you can get your praise on.

I brought 2017 in with a fleece throw wrapped around me standing on the balcony of my apartment watching the fireworks in the pouring rain. The first words that escaped from my mouth were, “Thank you, Lord!”

Bring It On 2017; I Am Ready

When was the last time that you took your defeat, and turned it into something worth applause? I'm going to let you think about how many times throughout your years on this earth you have felt like you have been constantly preparing yourself for the next battle or even mentally trying to tell yourself that you will make it through what you were going through? This year will be coming to a wrap in the next few days. I can say that 2016 was whopping my ass! Let me tell you everything that could have went possibly wrong had happened and there were so many things that God blocked from coming in my direction. Overall, after a year of countless tears of joy and sadness I'm still in an imaginary boxing ring of life with Jesus as my instructor. I'm wearing a pair of bright pink boxing gloves in position for my next opponent. Let me ask you this now, "Will you let 2017 knock yo' ass out?"

I thought that this would make an amazing topic, because lately I have been getting asked by customers at my current job as a bank teller, "You look so happy. Do you love your job as much as you are smiling?" I would answer. (Often, not trying to never be petty by saying something around the words like.) "I'm happy because life could be so much worse than not standing here today."

It's time to stop letting your emotions getting the best of you, and that's why you clicked on this post. You are probably the emotional girl, that is labeled the cry baby! It isn't always because Mother Nature is dressed in all red and is right around the corner with her pitch fork in her left hand either. It's time to suck that shit up and place those unnecessary tears that you want to shed in a thought and not an action. Woman the HELL up and learn how to get a better grip on your emotions.
