As you read this blog post, I am still in my pajamas. The
morning news is on my television. The windows are all open in my living room, bringing in natural light. My natural hair is in a high slept on puff with a
colorful scarf loosely wrapped around my head.
Have
you ever purchased a new journal or notebook and get so excited about writing
in it? But wait, you get home and just do not know what to write in your
journal. You think and try not to overthink as you stare at the blank pages
wondering what you will write. Trust me, I have been there before as a writer
and avid journal purchaser.
What would you do if you knew that you would not fail?
Better yet, what would you do if you knew you would learn a great deal from it,
from failing? I understand that failing forward sounds weird to some of y’all; however, it has helped countless people to thrive.
What goes through your mind as your phone alerts you that
your boo-thang has hit you up with a text message? You might be smiling hard, containing
your excitement, or just curious to see what he wants.
