I Told My Mama To Stop Stressing

in , , by Linda B Hurd, September 21, 2018
My mama Lilly B Wiggins is one of the strongest women I know. She raised me and my younger sister and brother with little money and education, but she always did have much strength. I cannot recall a time that I have ever seen her break down in tears. Hold up, maybe once or twice, from laughing or from a touching sermon while at church, but I never have seen her cry in a time of a storm.

Every woman, no matter young or old, is not cut from the same cloth. We all have different hustles, motivations, and goals. Some of us are raising a family while trying to provide a better living situation and future. I know how tiresome it could be busting’ your ass to make a living. I understand your struggle!

I will rather be real than sugar coat the truth with lies and bullshit. My husband and I have been together for eight years. We have been disagreements. We have our ups and downs and share so many priceless moments together.

Being a mother is rewarding. I have learned so much from my 10-month son Eli. Motherhood has given me more motivation, inspiration, and patience to thrive. I wanted to share with you 10 things that I have learned from my 10-month-old son.
