I know people that call this dirty thirty however I have been getting out of the mud enough in my 20s, my love. I have been talking about turning 30 and being in my thirties since I was in my early 20s. I’ve always (and I mean, always) felt like a 30-something-year-old woman.
Living to experience another birthday is a blessing in itself. I didn’t know much about my own strength and faith in God until this age. Year 29 showed me how ruthless life and the people in it can get while your back is up against a wall. I experienced many heavy days and unsettling nights. I'm just thankful to say that I made it through and here’s my raw and unfiltered truth on the 29 things I learned at 29 in no particular order. Let’s go!
The first week of January took me by surprise. Coming into this month, I did not have much excitement. With a dash of sadness lingering within my spirit, I was thankful and grateful. I do not know who was praying for my turnaround, but the sudden shift by Wednesday was evident.
I hope that your new year has started off well. This year I wanted to post more on my blog which will be a more controlled environment for me to express my thoughts. In just a matter of a few weeks, I will be graduating from my administrative medical assistant program and taking on a new career.
