There I was at one of the three cash registers with one of my co-workers on the side of me taking a guest. The line was growing longer with every customer that was checked out. I looked down at the bottom of my register's screen and the time displayed 5:55pm. "Can I take the next guest?" I asked as I pursed my lips together and positioned my scanner to start ringing up items....

My days have came to an end for working for a very popular and well-known gas station that's located in the south. I spent over one year and seven months working at a gas station, and it was indeed a very humbling expereince. On July 10th, 2016 I retired my work gear forever. Working at a gas station has changed my perception in so many ways about life and my health. Here goes just seven things that I have learned from working at a gas station. 

As women we sometimes find ourselves wanting to reach out for our man's wallet instead of using our own money more than just a few times during the week. It then depending on him for his money becomes daily action. It probably starts to feel weird when we use our own money instead of his. I just want you to know that going back to learning how to budget and save your own money will keep you from becoming dependent on his wallet. Here are a few damn good reasons why you should have your own money. 

There is a serious problem that you need solving at the moment. In your heart you want things to work, but you know that talking to a man that already has a woman! This guy may have a girlfriend, fiance', or even a damn wife! You find yourself texting and even talking to this guy quite often. It's that time to let his ass go! Here is my advice on what to do with this guy before you get your emotions caught up.
