In a world where love is sometimes seen as the solution to all our problems, it's important to remember that love doesn't magically make our bills disappear. As a single mom of two who's been through a divorce, I've learned that while love is important, it can't replace financial security.

In this crazy world, things are getting more expensive every day, and it can be challenging trying to make ends meet with just a regular 9 to 5 job. As a single mom, I know how hard it can be to balance work, kids, and ME time all while trying to give my kids the best life possible.

I have been a stay-at-home mom since my first child was born in 2017. No woman in my immediate life gave me any solid advice on how to save money as a stay-at-home mom. In fact, many of the women in my life could not relate to not having a job and being home for a long stretch of time to take care of their child or children.

We all have possibly felt the urge while shopping to treat ourselves to a little something nice. I know I have and can honestly say it with a grin. But when does treating yourself to something nice conflicts with your current financial situation?
