Dear Baby Hurd,

We have made it halfway through this pregnancy, and it still has been one of the greatest joys of my life. According to a few baby apps that use fruits and vegetables to measure your size, you have grown so much. At 18 weeks, you were around the size of bell pepper, and now you are possibly a little bigger than an artichoke. Don’t worry, Mama will educate you on all the fruits and vegetables there are! My baby boy, you are very active in my womb. Your father and I think that we have discovered a name for you. We think we will call you Alan Eli Hurd. We are still not certain yet.

Dear Baby Hurd,

I still am thanking God for your life every day. These past two weeks have really been going great for me and your father. In the last letter that you read from me, I told you that your father and I was going through a difficult time with seeing eye to eye. I can now say that we have truly moved passed the bitter sweetness that affected us weeks ago. Mama’s hormones are getting back to normal. I am still a major emotional being as your father always jokes about, however things have been solid.

Dear, Baby Hurd

As of today, I am nine weeks and three days pregnant. I am basically three days’ past being three months pregnant with you. Right now, you are the size of a green olive. I have been back to the doctor ever since, the last update and I had an ultrasound. Mommy will explain to you when you get here and can understand what an ultrasound is too, so don’t be confused while you read this.
