Just one week from today, I will be in labor and delivery. Whew. I’m nervous and yet excited to meet my second child. My three-and-a-half-year-old Eli has been giving my belly so many kisses and squeezes that I’m sure he will be captivated when he meets his baby sister for the very first time. I have been taking in these last few days of Eli being an only child with grace. The count down doesn't get any more real until I am in a hospital bed pushing with anticipation etched within my heart. 

39 weeks pregnant

Hey, there! The last time we talked about my pregnancy and my baby bump update, I was 22 weeks pregnant. If you missed that, simply click here after finishing this to find out what was happening. I am now 30 weeks pregnant, and of course, that means 10 weeks to go in this third and last trimester of my pregnancy. 

Dear Baby,

Baby girl, we are now approaching 23 weeks to come tomorrow. You weigh in about 1 pound, and you are around the length of an eggplant. Eggplant’s length can vary from anywhere from 11-12 inches. I imagine how beautiful your smile will be each day.

20 weeks, baby, baby! In my best Biggie Smalls impersonation voice! We are halfway there, and I can’t believe “well I can” how fast these five months have come. We know the gender of our baby, and we have started buying clothes and baby essentials.

Whew! Time is passing by with this pregnancy. In my last update, I touched on my 14 weeks pregnancy update. That was officially a month ago, and now I am 5 months pregnant. I have been taking time each day since those four weeks ago to love myself. 💛

Just baby bumping

I’m officially 14 weeks, and I feel much better than I have felt in weeks. Baby Hurd is the size of a lemon! Plus, now that I am in my second trimester, I feel relieved to be transparent with this pregnancy.

These past few weeks away from my blog has really lead me into deep thinking. I am now officially as of today 9 weeks pregnant. '

To many people, they may think, "Oh wow, Lynn! Do you want a cookie?"

I already have grasped on to the understanding that people who are already insecure about their own life and lifestyle will drag for someone like me regardless. However, I don't care for other people's input on the life that is growing inside of my womb and neither a got-damn cookie. I have admired many woman embrace motherhood with open arms and have reached out to many of those women before I even conceive. The more I truly think about these next six months are going to be, I thank God for this journey that I am on now.
